Gentle, Development-Focused Care for Infants, Toddlers & Growing Kids
At Grounded Wellness, pediatric chiropractic care is calm, gentle, and designed to support your child’s growing nervous system. From infancy through school age, we help little bodies move, feed, sleep, and play with more ease.
Why Chiropractic for Kids?
Kids grow fast, and sometimes their bodies need a little help adapting.
Birth, big emotions, growth spurts, tumbles, sports, and even long days at school can create tension patterns in a child’s spine and nervous system. Gentle pediatric chiropractic helps release that tension so their body can function the way it’s meant to.

Our Approach to Pediatric Care
Your child’s comfort and safety come first. Our adjustments for kids look very different from adult care and often look more like light stretching, gentle holds, or soft cranial work.
We use:
- Age-specific, low-force techniques
- Craniosacral gentle releases
- Movement-based and developmental assessments
- Parent-centered coaching to support milestones, feeding, sleep, and calming strategies
Most children find care relaxing and some even nap during sessions.
What a Visit Looks Like
For Infants
Visits may include gentle tension checks, cranial balancing, supporting latching patterns, and helping the body unwind from birth.
For Toddlers
We follow their lead with play-based assessment, gentle adjustments, and movement-focused techniques.
For School-Age Kids
We assess posture, coordination, sports mechanics, and growing-body stresses.
You’ll always receive guidance you can use at home to support ongoing progress.
Is Chiropractic Safe for Kids?
Yes. Pediatric chiropractic, when performed by a trained provider, is extremely gentle and safe. We use pressures no stronger than what you’d use to test the ripeness of a tomato.
Your child’s body is never forced. We work with it, not against it.
