Chiropractic care for pregnancy
Pregnancy is a time of profound physical and emotional change. As your body adapts to support a growing baby, it’s common to experience discomfort — from lower back pain and pelvic pressure to postural changes and joint strain. Chiropractic care offers a natural, gentle, and effective way to support your body throughout each stage of pregnancy.
Why chiropractic care for pregnancy?
Prenatal chiropractic care is a gentle, safe, and effective way to support your body during pregnancy. It plays a vital role in supporting the normal physiological function of both mother and baby throughout pregnancy and birth.
Chiropractic care can begin at any stage — from conception through to delivery — and at Grounded Wellness, our goal is to help make your pregnancy as comfortable and supported as possible.
This type of care focuses on the alignment of the spine and pelvis, which directly impacts comfort, mobility, and overall wellness. As your baby grows, your center of gravity shifts, ligaments naturally loosen, and spinal alignment may become compromised — all of which can contribute to aches, pains, and limited movement. Chiropractic adjustments are designed to gently restore balance, relieve discomfort, and help your body adapt to the physical demands of pregnancy.

Balancing the Pelvis
Dr. Crystal is dedicated to the prenatal community and is certified in Perinatal care and the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
The Webster Technique is a specific chiropractic sacral analysis and diversified adjustment. The goal of the adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacral subluxation/ SI joint dysfunction. In doing so, neuro-biomechanical function in the pelvis is facilitated.
This means that the adjustment helps to balance the pelvis which then allows for the baby to have plenty of space to get into the optimal position for birth. For the best outcomes it is recommended to start chiropractic care as soon as possible. Chiropractic care is safe during all stages of pregnancy.
